This was a really nice spot as you are looking directly at the enormity of the meadow with Pike’s Peak range in the distance. Stop at the visitor center to see what wildlife has been seen and where to get a … I took 17 counter-clockwise but a clockwise trip may spread out some of the elevation gain and make it a touch easier. One downside is that for the first mile you are close to the road and get a bit of traffic noise but the views of the meadow are hard to beat. Trail 19 takes toward the Peak view parking area but if you jump onto Trail 22 it will take you down to Peak View Pond.
